Golf industry PR and marketing specialist Andy Hiseman is stepping away from his agency after 8 years to concentrate on the imminent PowerPlay Golf launch.

The decision has triggered a series of client moves, with leading golf owner / operator Crown Golf now handled by Bruce Dodworth at Sea Glass PR, and the much talked-about Prazza golf ball finder account landing at Power Marketing UK under Craig Bousfield and John Kelly.

Other long-standing Hiseman clients, including SkyCaddie and Online Teetimes, have yet to announce their 2011 PR &marketing plans.

PowerPlay Golf is set to reveal details of its global launch at a press conference shortly.

“It’s a wrench to step away from the agency business” said Hiseman. “Since 2002 I have had the great privilege of working with a talented group of people who have been fantastic clients and colleagues at Hiseman Limited – many whom have also become good friends.”

“However, sometimes in life you get an opportunity to do something truly original. PowerPlay Golf, wherewe recently completed a successful pilot, during which time hundreds of thousands of golfers played PPG in 30 countries around the world, is just such an opportunity.

“We have a few surprises in store, and a fresh way of looking at golf around the world, which should inject some fresh excitement into the industry.”
