Limagrain UK has announced the appointment of Richard Sheppard, who joins the company as an amenity seed specialist, covering the south of England.
Having worked in the turf and amenity industry for over 25 years, Richard brings a wealth of relevant experience to his new role. He has held both groundsman and greenkeeping positions which saw him working at several high profile golf courses both in the UK and abroad including the role of course manager at The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club. Complementing his ‘hands-on’ experience, Richard has also worked in sales and marketing roles within the amenity industry.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said: “Limagrain is a respected company within the industry, with strong brands and a reputation for offering quality products. I wanted to be part of the company, offering good customer service and building strong relationships.”
