Automated teeing technology company Power Tee has announced the appointment of Tony Eccleston as Managing Director of UK & Europe.
Eccleston, who started his new role at the end of 2025, brings extensive leadership experience and commercial expertise to Power Tee, with more than 20 years’ experience in the sports industry, including over a decade in golf. His career includes leading the European golf category at Hi-Tec Sports, introducing premium Italian footwear brand Duca del Cosma to the UK and Ireland, and working with leading US golf brand Stitch Golf.
In his new role, he will lead Power Tee’s UK and European operations, set strategic direction, oversee day-to-day performance and accelerate expansion across the region.
Commenting on his appointment, Eccleston said: “I’m delighted to be joining Power Tee at such an exciting stage of its development. The company has built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation, and customer focus. I look forward to working closely with the team in the UK and Europe, as well as our colleagues in the United States, to build on this success and unlock new opportunities for growth across the region.”
Martin Wyeth, founder & CEO of Power Tee, said: “Tony brings a strong strategic mindset, deep golf industry knowledge and a proven ability to grow premium brands,” said “His leadership style and commercial acumen make him the ideal person to lead our UK and European business as we continue to expand. We are confident he will play a key role in strengthening our position in the UK and across Europe.”

Power Tee’s technology is already widely adopted across the UK golf industry, with installations at numerous leading driving ranges and golf facilities. Prestigious venues such as St Andrews, The Belfry, and Celtic Manor feature Power Tee systems. The facilities have integrated Power Tee into their practice bays to enhance practice performance and golfer satisfaction.
Eccleston’s appointment marks an important milestone for Power Tee as the company approaches its 30th anniversary, which will be celebrated at the 2026 PGA Show in Orlando from January 21-23. Attendees are invited to visit the Power Tee booth (ETC34) to learn about the company’s history, see the latest technology in action, and discuss how the system can revolutionize golf facilities.
