Gaunt & Marnoch Limited continue their expansion with a new office development in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Whilst the head office for the company remains in Bakewell, Derbyshire, Gaunt & Marnoch are now able to offer national coverage with offices covering all parts of the UK and Ireland. The office manager in Huntly is Allan Knight.
Although the Marnoch family moved to England during the 1960’s they still have strong ties in Scotland and therefore are delighted to have established a firm office base in Aberdeenshire. Steve Marnoch, a keen golfer was born in Buckie, North East Scotland. Steve’s father, Peter Marnoch was the head green keeper at Garmouth and Kingston Golf Course before becoming the head green keeper at Coventry Hearsall Golf Club. Peter Marnoch was an excellent single figure golfer and also a semi-professional footballer playing for Elgin City and Buckie Thistle.
