Titleist has announced the appointment of Aaron Crawford to the role of Golf Ball Category Manager for the UK region.

Crawford brings over two decades of industry experience to the role, backed by a strong professional background. Having started his career back at Acushnet in 2004, he worked as a Customer Service Representative in Australia before taking on the role of a Titleist Fitting Specialist in Europe.

Since then, Crawford has continued to build his expertise through positions with other golf equipment manufacturers, including Callaway Golf, where he has performed the role of a Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager and most recently as a Regional Sales Manager.

“I have always felt personally aligned with Titleist because of the integrity and quality of the products, and the focus on the dedicated golfer,” said Crawford. “Titleist’s sustained dominant position on all the worldwide tours validates the performance for serious golfers looking to optimise their game. I am humbled and proud to be the custodian of Pro V1 as well as the other topperforming models within the Titleist golf ball lineup.

“My 20 years of experience in the industry, where I have been involved in sales, marketing, product management and the tour, has sculpted a deep understanding of our industry and the dedicated golfer. I look forward to using the knowledge and skills I have learned along the way to continue the work that has earned Titleist the title of #1 ball in golf.”

Crawford joins the brand in a year which saw Pro V1 celebrate its 25th-year anniversary since its launch at the Invensys Classic in Las Vegas back in October, 2000. After winning in its Tour debut, the model continues to dominate on the elite global tours. On the DP World Tour alone this season, Pro V1 and Pro V1x have earned 27 victories.
