Zen Golf has appointed Canadian Golf Hall of Fame inductee and former LPGA and Epson Tour professional Lisa Meldrum as its newest brand ambassador.

Based in Montreal, Lisa brings her elite playing and coaching experience to the Zen community, representing the brand’s science-led approach to realistic, movement-based golf training.

At Total Golf Performance’s state-of-the-art coaching facility, Meldrum uses a 20x8ft in-floor Zen Green Stage integrated with SAM PuttStudio, giving players a fully representative environment to explore real-course gradients indoors. The combination of adjustable slopes and precision feedback enables golfers to experience true ball–ground interaction and develop adaptable skills that transfer seamlessly to the course.

Total Golf Performance is one of only two coaching venues in Canada that boasts a Zen Green Stage

“The Zen Green Stage is an absolute game-changer. It has become an integral part of my coaching, and of the development of my students” said Meldrum, Performance Director at Total Golf Performance. “Green Stage allows me to bring the golf course indoors. It can replicate every imaginable breaking putt, so my players can connect learning with real performance.”

“Joining Zen Golf feels like a natural extension of how I coach,” she added. “Golf is a dynamic, ever-changing game, and training environments like the ground-breaking Zen Green Stage should reflect that.”

A three-time Canadian Amateur Champion and 2024 Canadian Golf Hall of Fame inductee, Meldrum is one of Canada’s most respected golf professionals. Her progressive, evidence-based coaching philosophy aligns seamlessly with Zen Golf’s mission to make golf training more realistic, data-driven, and inclusive. Through her work at TGP, she is helping golfers of all levels — from juniors to professionals — to build confidence through awareness, movement, and measurable improvement.

“Lisa embodies what Zen stands for,” said Nick Middleton, founder of Zen Golf. “She brings extensive playing experience, technical expertise, and an educator’s mindset. Her integration of the Zen Green Stage with SAM PuttStudio perfectly exemplifies how Canada’s top coaches are embracing realism, precision, and data to elevate the learning process.”

Meldrum’s appointment marks a key milestone in Zen Golf’s expansion across North America. As one of the world’s top five golfing nations, Canada’s strong culture of coaching innovation and commitment to performance excellence all make it an ideal environment for Zen’s active terrain technology. The collaboration with TGP further reinforces Zen’s belief that golfers learn best when practice mirrors play.

As part of the Zen Ambassador network, Meldrum will contribute to education, events, and case studies demonstrating how realistic training environments accelerate skill transfer and player development. She joins a growing roster of world-class coaches and facilities using Zen technology to connect the performance environment with the learning one.

“Zen’s vision — ‘More People, Playing Better, For Longer’ — resonates strongly with me,” added Meldrum. “Our shared goal is to make improvement accessible and enjoyable. With tools like the Zen Green Stage, we can help every golfer experience what great coaching feels like: real, personal, and built on trust.”
