Galvin Green appoints first full-time US sales rep

Matt Leemhuis hired by premium golf apparel brand to cover New York Metropolitan & Mid-Atlantic territories

Premium golf apparel brand Galvin Green has appointed a new sales representative in the New York Metropolitan section and Mid-Atlantic territory as part of an effort to drive business across a key US region known for its high concentration of high-end private golf and country clubs.

Matt Leemhuis, who becomes the brand’s first full time sales representative in the United States, brings more than 13 years of sales experience to the role. The last 11 of these were spent with Nike Golf, where he managed top green grass and strategic regional accounts before working with the Jordan Brand and most recently, in footwear and accessories sales.

Leemhuis will meet with retailers to present Galvin Green’s latest golf apparel lines, as well as presenting key brand storylines and sales initiatives designed to drive sell-through.

The Part Two range Leemhuis will be presenting contains the multi-material DRYVR rainwear collection, INTERFACE-1 windproof garments, INSULA sweaters crafted using sustainable bluesign approved materials, more highly breathable shirts in the VENTIL8 PLUS fabric with UV 20+ protection, plus thermal vests and leggings, and matching accessories, including snoods and hats.
