Motocaddy, the UK’s leading electric trolley brand, has further strengthened its UK sales force with the appointment of David Knapp as Territory Sales Manager for Scotland and the North of England.

A PGA Professional, David joins Motocaddy with extensive experience across both the professional and retail sides of the golf industry. He most recently served as Head Professional at Tulliallan Golf Club in Kincardine, before moving into a senior retail role as Head of Retail at Affordable Golf, where he gained valuable insight into the commercial and operational needs of golf retailers.

In his new role, Knapp will be responsible for supporting Motocaddy’s growing network of retail partners across Scotland and the North of England, helping to drive continued brand growth through strong relationships, product expertise, and hands-on account management.

Commenting on the appointment, Steve Morris, Motocaddy Sales Director for UK and Ireland said: “We are delighted to welcome David to the Motocaddy team. His background as a PGA Professional, combined with his senior retail experience, gives him a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by our retail partners. He will be a great asset as we continue to invest in our sales team and strengthen our presence across this important region.”

Knapp’s appointment underlines Motocaddy’s ongoing commitment to investing in its sales infrastructure and delivering industry-leading support to its retail partners across key UK territories. The brand surged into 2026 with exceptional momentum, following company high sales in 2025 and recording a 36% year-on-year increase in pre-orders for this year, providing a clear reflection of the award-winning product line-up and trusted reputation and reliability.

The surge in demand follows news of nine new electric trolley models for next season, alongside four new golf bags and an extended range of complementary accessories ready for golfers to take to the fairways, providing retailers and PGA Professionals more opportunities than ever to boost sales.

“I’m delighted to be joining Motocaddy at such an exciting time for the brand,” said Knapp. “Having worked both as a PGA Professional and in golf retail, I understand the importance of strong supplier support, and I’m looking forward to working closely with retailers across Scotland and the North of England to help drive continued success.”
