Powakaddy reports strong UK market share growth

Leading electric trolley brand cements position in the UK golf market

Electric trolley manufacturer PowaKaddy has continued to solidify its position at the forefront of the UK market, with half of all electric trolleys sold in the UK this year being PowaKaddy products, according to the latest figures from Golf Datatech [On & Off Course Channel, Electric Trolley Sales Value, Jan-Nov ’25].

PowaKaddy’s FX1 and CT6 are the UK’s top two best-selling electric trolley models, accounting for almost 20% of the total market value to the end of November 2025, while the company’s latest GPS-enabled trolleys, the CT10 GPS and CT12 GPS, have established themselves in the top ten best-selling models in the market.

Graeme Wigham, Sales Director at PowaKaddy, commented: “We’re thrilled with the results this year, and they reflect the fantastic support of our retail partners combined with the immensely strong consumer appeal of our current range. For me, this demonstrates that we are delivering on our aim to make our golf trolleys appealing and accessible to all golfers, ensuring that we elevate our consumers on-course experience whatever their individual requirements, whilst ensuring that we support our retail partners in making these products available to the entire golfing population.

“At the start of the year, we were excited to introduce the next generation of GPS trolleys with Full-Hole View portrait displays, and that excitement has been vindicated with the success of both the CT10 GPS and CT12 GPS. Furthermore, the FX1 has clearly delivered on what we intended by bringing more people into the category, and delivering a premium, high-tech entry-level trolley at a more accessible price point. It has quickly established itself as the UK’s best-selling trolley. Additionally, the truly ultra-compact CT6 continues to meet the needs of so many golfers and puts more cash in the tills of our retail partners than any other golf trolley.”

He added: “We’re committed to supporting our partners with the very best products, programmes and support to ensure we build on this success and deliver continued growth together.”

The brand’s success extends beyond electric trolleys, with significant increases to pushcart sales, making PowaKaddy the fastest growing brand in the category over the last five years (4.8% to 15.7% value market share). The PowaKaddy cart bag range, featuring MAG-LOK technology, continues to drive significant share gains; PowaKaddy is the fastest growing cart bag brand in the industry based on sales data since 2022, with market share increasing by almost 60%.

Commenting on the strong performance, PowaKaddy CEO David Catford said: “Our performance so far in 2025 reflects the strength of our product range and the incredible support we receive from our retail partners. We’re delighted to see golfers embracing our latest innovations, and we look forward to building on this success into next year.”
