Under Armour Golf has delivered a strong first half of 2025, with impressive sell-through, leading positions in the men’s spikeless footwear market, and best-in-class stock efficiency across retail partners.

In men’s spikeless footwear, Under Armour is the leading brand by unit sales, holding a 24.2%* share of the market, with five of the top 10 best-selling styles.

In June, a peak month of the season, Under Armour’s share rose to 26.7%, with the brand selling 43% more spikeless shoes than its nearest competitor. The Phantom led the charge as the top selling style, winning over consumers with its blend of off-course looks and golf performance, and supported by positive media reviews, while there were typically strong returns for the Drive Pro SL and Drive Fade SL.

The brand’s performance has been strong both on course (21.3% share, up 15.7% year-on-year) and off course (27.3% share), with Under Armour well represented among the top sellers across all retail channels.

Retailers also benefited from Under Armour’s efficient stock position, with just 3.23 months of inventory — the best stock-to-sales ratio among the top five brands — helping partners keep shelves turning and stock fresh.

“This has been a fantastic first half of the year for Under Armour Golf,” said Richard Palmer-Jones, Under Armour Golf representative. “We are incredibly proud of the sell-through performance, particularly given that the majority of our current line is in year two of its lifecycle — a real testament to the strength of the brand and the staying power of our key products.

“We’re hugely grateful to our retail partners for their continued support and belief in the Under Armour brand. With the reception we’ve had to the new 2026 line-up, it’s a mouthwatering prospect for what’s ahead.”

The first-half-of-year results come hot off a record-breaking spring/summer pre-book, meaning more Under Armour Golf products will be available to UK golfers in 2026 than ever before. A complete apparel sell-out at The Open Championship provided further validation of the brand’s consumer appeal on the biggest stage.
