Cybersecurity firm extends partnership with DP World Tour

Fortinent signs multi-year extension of the official al cybersecurity partner of the European Tour Group

The DP World Tour has announced a multi-year partnership extension with Fortinet, a global cybersecurity leader driving the convergence of networking and security.

As Official Cybersecurity Partner, Fortinet will continue to provide its innovative security solutions to golf’s global Tour until 2028.

Since joining as Official Cybersecurity Partner for the 2022 season, Fortinet has supported the DP World Tour’s digital transformation agenda. The Tour hosts one of the largest and most complex ‘Bring Your Own Device’ environments in the sports industry, with up to 30,000 people attending tournaments each day across a 42-tournament season in 25 countries in 2026.

The Fortinet Security Fabric, a comprehensive platform of automated, integrated solutions powered by advanced threat intelligence, continues to protect player, fan, and stakeholder data across tournaments and digital platforms.

Building on this foundation, the Tour has extended protection to remote and mobile users through FortiSASE, seamlessly integrated with the Security Fabric for instant coverage. As part of Unified SASE, FortiSASE combines AI-driven insights and end-to-end Digital Experience Monitoring to deliver an exceptional user experience.

The next phase of the partnership will introduce the Fortinet Security Operations platform, enabling advanced threat detection, automation, and GenAI-powered response.

Beyond technology, the DP World Tour also invests in cybersecurity awareness by leveraging Fortinet’s Training Institute offerings to educate employees and strengthen resilience.

The Fortinet Threat Score, which showcases the field’s average score to par on a hole so fans can track how the world’s best professionals are faring, will continue across global television broadcasts and the DP World Tour website and social media channels. As an Official Marketing Partner, Fortinet branding will continue to feature at high-profile events and Fortinet will become an Official Partner to six tournaments on the DP World Tour schedule.
