DP World Tour marks World Alzheimer Day

Alzheimer’s Society and the DP World Tour are working together to raise awareness and help fans learn the signs and symptoms of dementia.

The month of September is World Alzheimer’s month and Saturday, September 21st is World Alzheimer Day.

Alzheimer’s Society and the DP World Tour are working together to raise awareness and help fans learn the signs and symptoms of dementia. Together they have produced the video below which was released on Saturday morning at 9am (BST)

Great golf should be unforgettable, but sadly for millions of people living with dementia worldwide, this isn’t the case. Around 55 million people globally have dementia, with Alzheimer’s disease being the most common form. 

This is the forgotten crisis.

The Alzheimer’s Society provides help and hope for everyone living with dementia, supporting people living with dementia through some of the hardest and most frightening times.
