The English Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) has renewed its Official Overseas Resort partnership deal with La Manga Club resort in Spain.

The new partnership will provide EWGA members with further benefits and added value on golf, spa and family holidays at La Manga Club and the EWGA will continue to run an annual members’ golf event at the resort.

The English Women’s Golf La Manga Club Challenge ran for the first time in October last year and was an overwhelming success, so much so that the EWGA is hopeful of doubling numbers this year.

The 2011 event runs from October 1-6 and includes five nights’ twin-share accommodation, half-board with evening meals at a choice of four restaurants and a Gala Dinner with prize giving, four competition rounds of golf across three courses and a welcome reception.

The event is priced at €585 per person and is open to any EWGA member with an active CONGU handicap. Golfers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
