Golf industry day at Woburn

The 2009 British Golf Industry Association charity golf day will take place at Woburn Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, 7th April. It will be preceded by an eve-of-tournament gala dinner and charity auction. Tickets and entries are available/open.

The British Golf Industry Association is pleased to announce that its 2009 charity golf day will take place on Woburn Golf & Country Club’s beautiful Duchess Course on Tuesday, 7th April.

Woburn’s inspiring venue should be a strong draw for the industry to book teams for the event, which raised over £20,000 for the Golf Foundation in 2008. The golf day, which is preceded by an eve-of-tournament gala dinner and charity auction also at Woburn, provides an excellent opportunity for many influential people from the world of golf to meet and catch up with old friends and colleagues.

The BGIA is extremely grateful to Bauer Media for providing sponsorship for the gala dinner. Thanks to Champions (UK) plc attendees will be entertained by after-dinner speaker Willie Thorne, current World Seniors Snooker Champion and TV commentator, who will also act as auctioneer for the evening.

Any company interested in entering a team in the golf day or wishing to attend the gala dinner should contact Jacqui Baldwin at the BGIA on 02476 414999 ext 207.
