The PGA Tour has named digital media company and popular YouTube brand Good Good Golf as title sponsor of a new PGA Tour tournament to take place in Texas next year.
The Good Good Championship, which will be part of the FedEx Cup Fall Series that will follow the conclusion of the 2026 PGA Tour season, will take place from November 12-15 over the Fazio Canyons course at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin. It will feature a field of 120 players, with the winner receiving 500 FedEx Cup points.
Good Good launched its YouTube channel in 2020 and has posted over 650 videos over the last five years, growing their subscriber base to 1.98 million. It has since launched its own apparel and accessories range.
Founded by Garrett Clark and Matt Kendrick, the other members of Good Good are Matt Scharff, Stephen Castaneda, Luke Kwon, Tom Broders and Brad Dalke. All are in their twenties.
While the cost of the sponsorship was not disclosed, title sponsorships for full-field PGA Tour events reportedly runs between $12-15 million — although fall events, which typically draw weaker fields than those in the regular season, cost significantly less. Prize funds are typically around $6 million for Fall Series event, compared to $8-9.5 million to regular season events and $20 million for Elevated Events.
In March, Good Good secured a $45 million funding round, with key investors including Manhattan West Private Equity, Creator Sports Capital, and Omaha Productions (which is owned by American Football star Peyton Manning). The company has since been valued at over $100m.
Tyler Dennis, the PGA Tour’s chief competitions officer, said that Good Good’s sponsorship offers the organisation a chance to “further connect and engage with our game’s younger fans”.
