Sports footwear brand Skechers was celebrating a win-win result at the 2021 Solheim Cup after brand ambassador Emily Pedersen sank the birdie putt on the 18th green that gave Europe the outright win in the matches against Team USA
As official footwear supplier for both the Skechers for both the European and United States Solheim Cup teams at the Inverness Club in Ohio, either result would have been a win for the brand, but the finish was especially exciting when Pedersen achieved the winning point wearing a pair of Skechers GO GOLF Elite 3 footwear.

In addition to pairs of shoes for the golfers, support staff and officials were provided with Skechers GO RUN Supersonic style footwear in team colors, with caddies outfitted in a special waterproof version. This is the first time Skechers supplied footwear to both sides after previously sponsoring the European team in 2017 and 2019.
