Softspikes secures Wyndham win to continue PGA TOUR dominance

The PGA TOUR’s final regular season stop ended with yet another Softspikes victory, as Wyndham Championship winner Cameron Young secured his first top-flight success using a combination of Tour Flex Pro and Metal Stinger spikes.

In a week when traction made the difference down the stretch at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina, 22 of the top 30 finishers opted for replaceable spikes over spikeless footwear, once again highlighting the performance edge trusted by the world’s best.

More and more players are customising their traction setups by combining different Softspikes models in the same shoe, using firmer profiles like Metal Stinger in high-torque zones and Tour Flex Pro for stability through the swing. This proven approach helps maximise grip, tailor feel, and create the exact setup they trust when interacting with the turf.

“This isn’t just a trend, it’s a clear statement about what players need to perform at the highest level,” said Joe Henderson, President, Softspikes. “Tour Flex Pro continues to deliver under pressure, and this latest win only reinforces its status as the tour’s go-to spike.”

So far this season, 33 of the 37 PGA TOUR titles have been won by players wearing Softspikes.
