Stuburt’s Garcia and Fireballs Win Dramatic Double Playoff in Andalucia

British apparel brand Stuburt is delighted to congratulate Sergio Garcia and his Fireballs team on their dramatic double play-off win on home soil at LIV Golf Andalucia.

Sporting iconic Fireballs Red, both individual and team titles were taken on an exhilarating final day. Garcia came from seven back to secure a place in the play-off before beating Anirban Lahiri on the second sudden death hole. This was a particularly sweet victory to secure his first LIV Golf win after losing 3 previous play-offs.

For team honours, Fireballs’ Abraham Ancer and David Puig beat Bryson DeChambeau and Paul Casey of the Crushers in the team aggregate-score playoff.

And it wasn’t just Fireballs GC who lit up Valderrama for Stuburt, as Louis Oosthuizen’s Stinger GC and Joaquin Niemann’s Torque GC secured third and fourth place in the team standings.

After watching the incredible results unfold, Graeme Stevens, Managing Director of Stuburt commented, “I know how important this win is for Sergio. He’s come so close on three occasions, but to secure the win in front of his home crowd has made this day extra special. He has been an incredible ambassador for Stuburt, along with all the guys from Fireballs, Stinger and Torque, so as team Stuburt, we couldn’t be happier.”

LIV Golf moves on now to LIV Golf UK at JCB Golf & Country Club. Stuburt will be hoping for an equally impressive result on home turf 26 -28 July.
