TGI Golf Foundation Days prove swinging success

From Monifieth Golf Links just outside Dundee to The Lambourne Golf Club in Buckinghamshire, and across the water to Ireland, this year’s TGI Golf Foundation Days covered plenty of ground.

Clocking up some impressive mileage, the TGI team delivered six memorable golf days, raising £4,280 in support of the TGI Golf Foundation.

The Foundation days give TGI Partners the chance to enjoy a relaxed and informal round of golf at a first class Partner venue, with a guest of their choice. With two events each in England, Scotland, and Ireland and all free to attend, it’s a perfect way for Partners to build relationships with club members as well as spending time with fellow Pros and TGI staff.

TGI also welcomes representatives from Partner Suppliers to each event, creating the perfect opportunity for networking with customers and peers. Their support adds extra excitement to the day as they donate a host of fantastic prizes.

The winning teams of four at each event took home some outstanding prizes, but it wasn’t just the top spots that were rewarded, thanks to the impressive prize tables at each event, even those down to seventh place did not leave empty handed.

Established in 2018, the TGI Golf Foundation was created to reflect the generosity of the group’s Partners, who regularly contribute to a variety of worthy causes, although TGI Golf have been hosting charity Golf Days for many years prior to that. The Foundation allows the group to support a broad range of charitable initiatives, maintain long-term relationships with selected charity partners, and provide assistance to the families of Partners who have sadly passed away.

TGI Golf Managing Director Adele McLean said: “This year’s TGI Golf Foundation Days were a great success. We were fortunate with the weather – most of the time – and every host venue went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

“It’s always a pleasure to see so many TGI Partners and their guests enjoying the days, and to have our Partner Suppliers join us too. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who came along and contributed so generously, helping us raise a fantastic amount for the Foundation.”
