Set among the vineyards of the Médoc region, just 20km from the city of Bordeaux, Cabot Bordeaux is offering golfers something rarely found on a traditional stay-and-play break: a golf trip shaped as much by wine tastings, regional gastronomy, and spa experiences as it is by scorecards.

For travellers who may never have considered France as a golf destination, Cabot Bordeaux presents a compelling alternative to the norm. Located just 20 kilometres from the city of Bordeaux and surrounded by the legendary wine estates of the Médoc region, the 79-room MGallery resort offers stay-and-play golf packages featuring both of its 18-hole courses – Châteaux (ranked #9 in France) and Vignes (ranked #30 ) – while embracing the region that makes this corner of France unlike anywhere else in golf.

Cabot Bordeaux also offers exclusive pricing for French golfers who are members of the Fédération Française de Golf, with dedicated rates available across its golf offering.

For golfers travelling primarily to play, the Unlimited Golf Stay offers three nights’ accommodation with breakfast and unrestricted access to both courses, from €1,122 in winter and €1,824 in peak season.

Shorter breaks are available through the Golf in Médoc package, a one-night stay built around a single round complemented by access to the spa and the wider resort experience, from €374.

Beyond traditional stay-and-play, Cabot Bordeaux integrates the region’s identity into the experience. The Golf & Wine package combines a round of golf, dinner, and a guided tasting at a Médoc château from €966, while Golf & Gastronomy pairs a round with high-quality regional dining from €474.

Golf break guests can enjoy freshly-cooked, locally-sourced produce and a wide range of fine wines at Cabot Bordeaux’s terrace restaurant

Additional options include Spa & Golf and the Wellness Retreat, offering a blend of play and relaxation. For those focused on improvement, the on-site golf training centre supports structured coaching stays ranging from beginner introductions to multi-day development programmes.

Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and Co-Founder of Cabot, said: “Cabot Bordeaux represents something truly special and unique in European golf. Bordeaux is a spectacular city in one of the most celebrated wine regions in the world and blending that with championship golf lends itself to the trip of a lifetime. We pride ourselves on creating unforgettable experiences for our guests in exceptional locations and Cabot Bordeaux does just that.”
