The International Golf Travel Market will be held from 10th to 13th December this year at Jacksonville, St Augustine and the Beaches, Florida.
The golf tourism industry is worth well in excess of $10 billion per year. Golf travel increased by 11% in 1999 and the market is expected to increase at a similar rate over the next few years.
Well over one million overseas golf vacations were handled by golf tour operators last year and the growth rate of this sector of the travel industry is predicted to increase much faster than the rest of the global travel industry over the next decade.
