Home to one of Ireland’s most magical castles, the Dromoland Estate provides 500 acres of lush woodland, and now features a worldclass.golf course designed by Ron Kirby and JB Carr.

Located only 15 minutes from Shannon International Airport – and half-an-hour from Ryder Cup host venue Adare Manor – Dromoland Castle joins a select portfolio of ‘worldclass’ golf destinations, all delivering an exceptional visitor experience.

Commenting on his decision to join worldclass.golf, director of golf at Dromoland Castle, Eamonn O’Donnell said: “We place huge pride in the visitor journey at Dromoland Castle. A guest is coming in looking to experience something special, which explains why we have joined worldclass.golf as the ethos and core values of the portfolio align with ours.”

The practice facilities at Dromoland Castle are now Trackman‑equipped, offering a high‑tech experience rarely matched in Ireland. “Toptracer is fantastic,” added O’Donnell, “but Trackman was the right fit for us. Our guests expect the best.”

CEO & Founder of Worldclass Golf Destinations, Michael Lenihan added: “I had the good fortune to visit Eamonn and Dromoland Castle recently, and everything about the resort is exemplary. Given the weather conditions that the west coast of Ireland has had to contend with this winter, the course was in excellent condition, and the additions to the visitor experience – such as engraved bag tags – have really helped to elevate the destination.”

Dromoland Castle joins Adare Manor and Druid’s Glen as the only worldclass.golf destinations in Ireland.
