Leading Courses publishes Europe’s Best Golf Resorts ranking for 2026

Leading Courses has released the 10th edition of Europe’s Best Golf Resorts, the annual ranking fully based on verified traveller reviews.

For ten years, this list has helped golfers discover resorts that truly deliver the complete experience: outstanding golf, premium accommodation, and facilities that elevate a golf trip into something memorable.

Unlike traditional awards decided by expert panels, the ranking is entirely data driven. The total rating presented for each resort reflects a combined score of ratings provided by Leading Courses registered users and accommodation ratings on Booking.com, with the weighting shared equally.

In addition, a bonus of 0.005 points per hole is applied to reflect the number of holes available at each venue. Multi-course destinations therefore benefit from greater variety during a golf holiday. If two resorts achieve the same overall score, the golf rating acts as the deciding factor. This transparent approach ensures the ranking reflects both course quality and accommodation standards.

Only resorts with sufficient recent reviews, official on site or directly affiliated accommodation, and comprehensive leisure facilities qualify.
