The Professional Golfers’ Association is delighted to announce that following a review of the patronages of the late Queen Elizabeth II, His Majesty King Charles III has accepted patronage of The PGA.

The King succeeds Her late Majesty, who accepted the patronage shortly after her succession in 1952, as well as King George VI and King Edward VIII. It is a source of great pride that The PGA’s long association with the Monarchy continues.

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The PGA, said: “This marks another proud milestone for our Association and its Members. We are deeply honoured by His Majesty King Charles III’s decision to accept the patronage of the Professional Golfers’ Association.”
