Old Golf Auction starts today

The auction of rare golfing memorabilia includes a large collection of wrapped golf balls and rare golf ball boxes (from 1890s onwards) and several signed Bobby Jones items.

“The auction comprises over 1,100 items, more than we‘ve ever had in a single auction before. Many of the lots are highly significant, and they cover all the key collecting categories: clubs, balls, books, programmes, other printed ephemera, porcelain and glass, artwork etc,” says auctioneer Graham Rowley.

There is a large collection of wrapped golf balls and rare golf ball boxes (from 1890s onwards), several signed Bobby Jones items and many rare Books and postcards.
