Webinar to explore strategies for growing female participation

Tomorrow's online session will focus on the development of sustainable female golf communities and the programmes that are helping to increase participation.

Golf coaches, clubs and governing bodies are being invited to take part in a new webinar designed to provide practical guidance on attracting, engaging and retaining more women and girls in the game.

The online session, which takes place at 9am GMT on Thursday, August 20, will focus on the development of sustainable female golf communities and the programmes that are helping to increase participation.

The 60-minute webinar, for which more than 200 people have already registered, will combine research, case studies and proven participation strategies that can be adapted by clubs and national governing bodies.

The session will be led by PGA Professionals Molly Moore and Alastair Spink from love.golf, alongside Matt Reagan from Operation 36, all of whom have extensive experience in player development and participation programmes.

Speakers will examine the difference between creating memorable experiences and simply delivering programmes, while also discussing the role of PGA Professionals and the impact of technology in building long-term engagement among female golfers.
