Women’s Golf Day (WGD), in partnership with the PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, proudly celebrated another extraordinary Women’s Golf Day event on May 29, reinforcing the power of collaboration, community, and the continued growth of women’s golf around the world.
Set against the world-class backdrop of PGA Frisco, the event has quickly become one of the shining gems within the global Women’s Golf Day portfolio — a premier example of what is possible when organizations unite with a shared purpose: creating welcoming, and empowering experiences for women and girls through golf.
What began as a collaborative vision has evolved into a meaningful annual tradition in North Texas, bringing together beginner and avid golfers, industry leaders, and community partners for a day that celebrates connection, opportunity and inclusion in the game.
“The partnership between Women’s Golf Day, the PGA of America, and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa represents the very essence of what Women’s Golf Day stands for,” said Elisa Gaudet, founder of Women’s Golf Day. “This event is more than a celebration of golf — it is a powerful example of how communities and organizations can work together to create lasting impact and inspire the next generation of women in the game.
Throughout the day, attendees experienced golf instruction at the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile or a round on The Swing, a 10-hole par 3 course.
After golf, the women enjoyed an early lunch at Ice House before gathering at the Home of the PGA of America for a panel discussion with industry leaders. The atmosphere reflected the core ethos of Women’s Golf Day: engaging, empowering, and supporting women both on and off the golf course in an environment welcoming to all skill levels.

“We are thrilled to unite with women who are as passionate about golf’s future as we are. In the spirit of Women’s Golf Day, we are reinforcing our commitment to making this sport accessible to everyone,” said Vanessa Vogler, Chief Administrative Officer at the PGA of America. “We’re here to inspire new golfers and build a more inclusive foundation for the sport we love.”
As Women’s Golf Day Week continues to unite women at thousands of locations across the globe, the PGA Frisco event stands out as a WGD Signature Series flagship gathering — showcasing not only the future of the sport, but also the importance of partnership in driving meaningful progress.
The continued success of the event highlights the shared commitment of all three organizations to fostering accessibility, inclusivity, and growth within golf while positioning Frisco as an emerging hub for the future of the game.
Women’s Golf Day is celebrated annually through a series of events held across multiple continents, connecting women and girls to golf in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. The collaboration with the PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa exemplifies how the global mission of Women’s Golf Day can create strong local impact and enduring community connection.
