JumboMax introduces JMX UltraLong grip

New15-inch grip offers three points of contact for added control, consistency and comfort.

JumboMax Golf Grips has announced the launch of the JMX UltraLong grip, a 15-inch design that offers three points of contact that provides golfers with more control, consistency and comfort.

The JMX UltraLong grip was designed with the extra-firm Tour Series skin and additional length that creates a third point of contact on the club shaft, allowing players to alter distances by gripping at the top, bottom or middle of the grip.

This is particularly useful in the short irons and wedges, which are relied on in most scoring situations. Golfers can also expect to see little to no change to the swing weight of the club itself after installing the new JMX UltraLong.

Considered a lightweight grip, the new model is available in standard jumbo (+1/8”), medium (+5/16”) and extra-large (+3/8”) sizes.

“We pride ourselves on using data to provide innovative solutions that help grow the game of golf,” said John Mazzanoble, president of JumboMax Golf Grips. “By offering the JMX UltraLong as a longer grip with more points of contact, we can show golfers how a little creativity can result in a lot of control and consistency for better on-course performance.”

Founded in 2009, JumboMax Golf Grips helps golfers play better with grips designed for a proper ergonomic fit. Validated on Tour by players such as Bryson DeChambeau and Jason Day, JumboMax measures five fundamental data points – grip size, weight, length, shape and texture — to develop performance golf grips, the fastest and easiest equipment change for measurable improvement.

The JMX UltraLong 15-inch grip has a retail prices of $18.99 and is available to purchase online from October 20 exclusively at jumbomax.com.
