Water Weasel launches innovative multi-ball golf retriever

New accessory provides alternative solution for retrieving golf balls from the water and hard-to-reach areas of the course.

A new golf ball retriever designed to make recovering lost balls quicker and more efficient has been launched with the introduction of Water Weasel, an innovative patent-pending retrieval system that offers golfers a smarter alternative to traditional scoop-style retrievers.

Developed to tackle the frustrations of retrieving balls from water hazards and difficult terrain, Water Weasel features a unique dual rolling-disc mechanism that enables golfers to collect up to four golf balls in a single pass. Unlike conventional retrievers that rely on a plastic or metal scoop, the rolling rubber discs grip golf balls securely with a simple forward or pulling motion, even in muddy or murky conditions where visibility is poor.

The retriever is fitted with a telescopic shaft that extends to 12 feet and collapses to just four feet for easy storage in a golf bag. Each section features a secure locking mechanism for added stability during use, while an ergonomic non-slip grip provides comfortable handling in all weather conditions.

“The Water Weasel is more than a tool – it’s a game-saver,” said Larry Walshaw, CEO of Water Weasel, which launched the new product to the golf industry at the 2026 PGA Show. “Our innovative design enables effortless ball recovery, allowing players to save more of their own golf balls while also recovering others that would otherwise remain lost.”

The Water Weasel has a recommended retail price of $59.95.
