Golfamore, Europe’s leading green fee benefits and tee time booking service, has appointed Sami Vikback as CEO of the company with immediate effect following the decision of founder Anders Clarén, who has been CEO since 2022, to step down from operational responsibilities.
Under Clarén’s leadership, Golfamore has undergone strong strategic growth with a focus on continued expansion in several markets. During this period, the company has also developed significantly within technology and become an even more data- and AI-driven business.
Fredrik von Speigel, CEO of Golfamore Group, said: “We are proud and grateful for the journey we have made together under Anders. Golfamore stands stronger than ever, and it is the right time to hand over the baton to the next generation.
“We see opportunities ahead and at the same time a clear need for high speed. The industry is changing rapidly, and we need to act decisively. Golfamore continues its journey forward, both technically, commercially, and organisationally.”

Sami Vikback has been part of the Golfamore Group’s advisory board for over a decade and has extensive experience in building and developing commercial and digital businesses. He has previously been involved in building, among others, Discovery Networks and MTV Finland, and is the founder and owner of Media Ventures.
“Golfamore has built a very strong position in the market and I look forward to potentially helping continue the development. I see great opportunities with the team’s dedication, the company’s strong technology platform, and the broad customer offering,” says Vikback.
Golfamore works with over 1,600 golf clubs throughout Europe to help them increase tee time occupancy, visibility, and revenue while offering green fee savings to golfers in over 30 different markets.
