The Indoor Golf Alliance, a recently launched professional trade association serving the indoor golf industry in the US, is to extend membership, education and sponsorship opportunities to indoor golf operators, instructors, and enthusiasts around the world for the first time.
The programme will begin with Licensed Chapters in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the Nordic region.
The expansion comes as indoor golf and simulator technology adoption accelerates worldwide. Markets with limited outdoor golf access due to climate, land cost, or population density have seen rapid growth in indoor facilities, and IGA’s International Chapters Program is designed to give operators in these markets the same professional community, education, and sponsorship access that IGA has built for the US market.
IGA founder Phil Immordino said: “Indoor golf has become a global category, not a regional one, and the industry needs an association that reflects that. Launching Licensed Chapters in these five regions lets us bring facility owners, instructors, and enthusiasts around the world into a single professional network, with local leadership on the ground and the full backing of IGA’s education, marketing, and sponsorship programs.”
Each Licensed Chapter will operate under the IGA brand and will be run by an approved local lead, with support from IGA global, including use of the IGA logo, a dedicated chapter website page, listing in the global facility directory, newsletter and webinar content, monthly outreach to local facilities, and speaking opportunities at IGA and partner industry conferences.
Facility owners, instructors, and industry vendors interested in getting involved with a chapter in their region – or in becoming a chapter lead – can learn more by clicking here or by contacting phili@indoorgolfalliance.org.
