Foremost expands POS support team as user base nears 400

Foremost Golf hires three new staff to cope with customer demand for its innovative point of sale system.

Foremost Golf has strengthened its dedicated Point of Sale (POS) support team with three new appointments as it continues to invest in the people supporting its growing user base of nearly 400.

Daniel Peake, Head of Foremost POS, commented: “The rapid growth of Foremost POS is a real reflection of the value it is delivering to our members, and we are investing in our team to ensure our support continues to grow alongside it. Richard Osborne brings a wealth of industry experience to the new role of Team Leader, while Rohan Martin and Daniel Viney further strengthen our ability to provide the high level of personal support our members deserve.”

As the team continues to grow, Foremost is also preparing to introduce a regional support structure, giving members a dedicated point of contact to help build stronger relationships and provide greater continuity throughout the Foremost POS journey.

The expanded team will continue to offer seven-day support, with free training included as part of the service, ensuring members have access to help and guidance whenever they need it.

Foremost has also enhanced its twice-yearly system health checks, helping members identify opportunities to improve efficiency and make better use of the system’s expanding functionality.

More than 50% of the user base has already received an enhanced review, with new training packs and instructional videos also in development to give members even more ways to get the most from their system.

Speaking about his job’s remit, Osborne explained: “Our role goes beyond resolving day to day queries. We want to build relationships with our members, understand their businesses and help them make the most of everything Foremost POS has to offer. By giving members the right support, training and guidance, we can help them work more efficiently and get greater value from the system.”

The wider POS department has also been strengthened by Evan Wood’s move into the team, focusing on retail report analysis and the Foremost Golf product database.

Osborne will also be attending Foremost’s forthcoming conference roadshows across the country, meeting existing and prospective POS users to discuss how the expanding team can provide support, help members get the most from the system and support their businesses heading into 2027.
