British menswear brand Dobell has been announced as a sponsor of the 2026 Champions UK plc European Senior Masters, which will welcome Major champions and Ryder Cup icons to La Manga Club in Spain from 5–8 November.
Dobell is a UK online menswear retailer specialising in formalwear, tailoring and occasion wear. Founded by entrepreneur Mike Dobell, the company offers suits, tuxedos, wedding attire, shirts and accessories designed to provide affordable tailoring for a wide range of customers.
Hosted by former Ryder Cup player Peter Baker, the Legends Tour event will offer a record £299,800 prize fund, with £44,970 going to the winner.
The field for the European Senior Masters includes Paul Lawrie, winner of the 1999 Open Championship, and Michael Campbell, who won the 2005 US Open. They will be joined by Richard Bland, winner of both the Senior PGA Championship and US Senior Open in 2024, alongside 15-time European Tour winner Thomas Bjørn, who also captained Europe to Ryder Cup victory in 2018.
The sponsorship will see Dobell branding feature on tournament shirts, connecting the online formalwear specialist with golfing audiences throughout the event. Dobell will also celebrate its involvement through giveaways offering fans the opportunity to win exclusive tournament shirts signed by the 2026 players.
Mike Dobell said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the European Senior Masters and joining the other businesses supporting this year’s tournament. With Peter Baker hosting and a field featuring Major champions and Ryder Cup players, it promises to be a fantastic week of golf. We’re proud to see Dobell involved in an event with such an impressive line-up and a growing history.
He added: “Golf is a big part of many of our customers’ lives, so this partnership gives us an opportunity to share that interest with them and introduce Dobell to new audiences. We’re looking forward to following the action at La Manga Club and giving fans the chance to take home a special piece of the tournament through our signed-shirt giveaways.”
Dobell joins fellow event supporters including Computacenter, Coca-Cola, Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa, Air Services, Murcia Today, TKO Radio and La Manga Life.
Defending champion Jamie Donaldson returns after winning the 2025 tournament with an 11-under-par total, securing his first Legends Tour title in only his second appearance on the senior circuit.
Baker, the 2023 Legends Tour Order of Merit winner, will both host and compete, with four-time European Tour winner Stephen Gallacher also among the entrants.
The programme opens with a Pro-Am on November 5, followed by two days of Alliance competition in which amateurs partner professionals. Each pairing competes for a team prize, while the professionals’ individual scores count towards the European Senior Masters title. The 54-hole professional tournament concludes with a professionals-only final round on November 8.
