England Golf has announced a new three year partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line, confirming the UK’s leading independent cruise brand as the organisation’s Official Cruise Line Partner.
The agreement will see Ambassador receive extensive brand and marketing exposure across England Golf’s digital ecosystem — including its website, social media channels, app and email communications — reaching golf club members, iGolf subscribers, England Captains, and affiliated clubs and counties nationwide. When opted into England Golf emails, club members, iGolf subscribers and England Captains will receive a discount code for booking no-fly cruises.
As part of the partnership, Ambassador will feature across England Golf’s championships and events programme, with on course branding at several flagship competitions such as the Brabazon Trophy, Men’s English Amateur, Women’s English Amateur, English Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship and the Carris Trophy.
Ambassador will also become Title Partner of the England Captains Members Programme, supporting a series of events and initiatives that celebrate and connect Club Captains across the country. The cruise line will sponsor an award category at the annual England Golf Awards and deliver a range of experiential activations designed to engage directly with golfers and fans throughout the year. Clubs nationwide will also benefit from dedicated marketing collateral provided by Ambassador.
Gordon Nardini, Chief Marketing Officer at Ambassador Cruise Line, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to community, wellbeing and exceptional experiences: “We are delighted to be partnering with England Golf, an organisation that shares our focus on delivering high quality experiences and engaging a passionate and loyal community. Golf and cruising appeal to many of the same audiences, and this partnership provides a strong platform for us to connect with players and fans across England. Many of our guests are passionate golf fans and players, and we’re looking forward to introducing our famous ‘warmest welcome at sea’ to this new audience over the next three years.
“In addition, our itineraries take guests to a range of remarkable destinations, offering golfers the opportunity to step ashore and enjoy a day playing some truly outstanding courses, adding another dimension to the overall cruise experience.”
Jeremy Tomlinson, Group Chief Executive of England Golf, welcomed the announcement: “We’re delighted to welcome Ambassador Cruise Line as an Official Partner of England Golf. We have a shared commitment to community and wellbeing that together we will celebrate with golfers through joint initiatives. This collaboration opens up exciting new opportunities for our members, golf clubs and iGolf subscribers, as Ambassador Cruise Line looks to create memorable experiences throughout the partnership both on land and at sea.
“We look forward to seeing the cruise line’s signature warmest welcome at sea extended through campaigns they support, special events at golf clubs and across the England Captains events. This partnership brings another strong advocate for the game we love, building connections and joy to golf in England.”
Founded in 2021, Ambassador Cruise Line offers authentic, no fly cruise experiences primarily aimed at the over 50s market, combining outstanding cuisine, entertainment and service with affordable quality. With more regional departures than any other UK cruise line, its two UK based ships — Ambience and Ambition — sail from London Tilbury, Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol Royal Portbury and Portsmouth to destinations including the Norwegian fjords, Canary Islands and the Mediterranean.
Following its 2025 merger with Compagnie Française de Croisières, the fleet has expanded to include Renaissance, offering winter Caribbean fly cruise itineraries, with a second season now on sale for 2026/27.

To celebrate the launch of the partnership, Ambassador will run a national giveaway offering one winner a trio of prizes:
- Two general admission tickets to The Open Championship (Saturday 18 July 2026)
- Two general admission tickets to the AIG Women’s Open Championship (Saturday 1 August 2026)
