Swoop Golf appoints Sports Impact to PR & Communications brief

Specialist marketing agency to showcase Swoop’s technology for smarter club operations and enhanced golfer experiences.

Swoop Golf, the technology business connecting golf club operations and member services, has appointed award-winning PR, Marketing & Sponsorship agency Sports Impact to raise its profile across the golf industry.

The partnership will involve the agency managing communications and media relations, highlighting how Swoop’s technology can help clubs deliver more personalised service, better understand their operations and develop additional revenue opportunities.

Swoop brings together club management insights, AI-powered member communication and on-course food and beverage ordering. Its offering is designed to help operators make more informed decisions while giving golfers greater convenience before, during and after their round.

“We want to make it easier for golf clubs to understand their business and deliver the service their members expect,” said Ryan Donovan, co-founder of Swoop Golf. “Whether that means connecting information across existing systems or making it simpler for a golfer to place an order, our focus is on practical improvements that make a difference to the overall club experience.

“Partnering with Sports Impact gives us an opportunity to tell that story to a wider golf audience. Their industry knowledge and media relationships will help us demonstrate what Swoop can offer club operators and the golfers they serve,” Donovan added.

At the heart of the offering is Swoop Signal, which connects data from existing club software to provide a clearer picture of day-to-day operations. Bringing together information from areas such as tee times, point of sale and dining, the platform is designed to help teams anticipate demand and identify opportunities to improve member engagement.

Alongside this, Swoop Concierge provides an AI assistant members reach through the Swoop app, WhatsApp or SMS, whichever they already use. Swoop’s food and beverage ordering service also enables golfers to order refreshments from the clubhouse for delivery to their location on the course.

“Swoop addresses many of the challenges golf clubs face every day, helping them streamline operations, meet evolving member expectations and, importantly, unlock new opportunities to grow food and beverage sales,” said Sports Impact CEO, Natalie Collard. “We’re delighted to be working with the team and look forward to raising awareness of Swoop among club operators and the wider golfing community.”

Since 2001, Sports Impact has delivered bespoke marketing communications services to clients across the globe. Specialising in golf, the agency develops targeted communications strategies and advises on advertising and sponsorship opportunities to build awareness and support clients’ commercial objectives.
