Glenmuir launches first-ever golf bag

Scottish apparel brand launches into golf bag market with premium option for walking golfers.

Scottish golf apparel brand Glenmuir has entered a new product category with the launch of its first-ever golf bag, the Strathspey, marking a significant milestone in the company’s 130-year history.

Designed specifically for walking golfers, the premium carry bag combines lightweight performance with the traditional styling and craftsmanship that have become synonymous with the Glenmuir brand.

Constructed from waterproof vegan leather and featuring waterproof fabrics and zips throughout, the Strathspey has been developed to deliver durability and weather protection while maintaining a refined aesthetic. The bag weighs 2.9kg and incorporates a 9-inch base with six full-length dividers to improve club organisation.

Among its performance-focused features are lightweight carbon fibre legs and a tilted low-profile base designed to enhance stability on uneven terrain. Comfort has also been prioritised through a quilted back pad and a padded five-axis double strap system intended to distribute weight evenly during a round.

Storage options include two magnetic-access pockets, a cushioned valuables pocket with an integrated key-ring lock, and a magnetic drinks holder. Additional practical features include an umbrella holder, rain hood, towel hook, Velcro glove attachment and an easy-grab carry handle.

The Strathspey golf bag is offered in two styles, navy and navy with a tartan trim, both of which have an RRP of £250 and can be ordered directly through Glenmuir.
