GolfPod, the fast-growing, tech-driven golf concept, has launched its second site at Basildon Sport & Leisure Club, in partnership with Everyone Active.

GolfPod’s vision is simple – to make golf more inclusive, accessible, and fun, bringing the game closer to people in a modern, social environment.

The Basildon site features GolfPod’s compact, 30m x 30m immersive driving range powered by Toptracer technology, delivering a fully interactive, screen-led experience where users can track their shots, play games, and enjoy a modern way to practice and play.

Designed for all abilities, from complete beginners to regular golfers, GolfPod creates a relaxed, social environment that opens the game up to a much wider audience.

This latest launch marks an important milestone for the business, with GolfPod now delivering what it believes to be the first fully bookable, unmanned, tech-enabled driving range, powered by Toptracer, Range Servant and Sweetspot.

Club hire is available at reception, making it easy for new users to get started, while a range of coaching programmes, including beginner group sessions, will be introduced to support those new to the game and help build confidence. Sessions can be booked by downloading the Sweetspot app, with availability up to 14 days in advance.

The entire GolfPod set-up can be fitted into a 30m x 30m space

Mike Stone, MD of GolfPod, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to launch our second site at Basildon in partnership with Everyone Active. This is a key step in our journey as we continue to expand GolfPod into high-quality leisure environments. By combining technology with a fun, social experience, we’re creating a new way for people to enjoy the game.”

The construction of GolfPod’s third UK site at Rickmansworth Golf Club in Hertfordshire is set to begin shortly. The first site is located at Cranham Golf Course in Upminster.
