Innovative golf apparel ecommerce company Fescue & Dunes has enhanced its burgeoning portfolio of destination partner clubs and resorts by forming new partnerships with six of the leading golf venues in England and the Republic of Ireland.
The enterprising US-based business – which sells premium-branded club merchandise online to golfers, primarily North American – has announced new collaborations with Walton Heath in Surrey, Royal Cinque Ports in Kent and Hillside in Lancashire, while it has added to its list of partner venues in Ireland by signing up Baltray in County Louth, Druids Glen in County Wicklow and Strandhill in County Sligo.
Conor McDonald, golf operations manager at Druids Glen, said: “At Druids Glen, our ambition is to provide every member and guest with an exceptional experience, one that does not simply end on the 18th green. Fescue & Dunes gives us the opportunity to extend that journey beyond the resort, allowing golfers to carry a piece of Druids Glen with them wherever they go.
“As an international golf destination welcoming so many visitors from North America and across the world, it is important that the connection they form with Druids Glen can continue long after they return home. With Fescue & Dunes managing the ecommerce and fulfilment process, we can offer that experience in a seamless and meaningful way, while bringing our brand and merchandise to golfers far beyond our fairways.”
Fescue and Dunes already works with a notable list of courses including the likes of Open Championship venues Royal Birkdale and Royal St. George’s, Portmarnock, Royal Dublin, Tralee, Dundonald Links, Machrihanish Dunes, Dumbarnie Links and Lofoten Links, and co-founder Tim Neill is thrilled at the progress the company has made since the start of the year.
Neill said: “We’re incredibly excited by what we’ve achieved in a short space of time, and particularly by the quality and calibre of the venues that are choosing to partner with us. To add six such prestigious clubs across England and Ireland to our portfolio is a fantastic endorsement of what we are trying to achieve.
“Our goal has always been to create a better way for golfers to access authentic merchandise from the courses they love, while helping clubs extend their brands beyond the clubhouse and reach a much wider international audience. The response from venues and golfers alike has been extremely encouraging, and we’re delighted to be building relationships with clubs that share our passion for great golf and strong brand identities.”
Created in August 2024 by Neill and fellow marketeer and avid golfer Joe Petrucci, Fescue & Dunes was founded with a two-fold goal: to help golfers purchase authentic merchandise from iconic golf courses they have played or wish to play and enable those courses to sell their branded products more widely in tandem with making their onsite and online offerings more efficient.
Offering turnkey ecommerce and marketing solutions, Fescue & Dunes not only allows partner venues to promote their latest products without the need for upfront investment or additional inventory to carry but also get smarter about how they collect and use golfer data, providing more flexibility in clubs’ purchase windows when their supply chain options are normally very rigid.
Neill added: “These latest partnerships represent another important step forward for Fescue & Dunes. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing to work with clubs to make their merchandise more accessible, their ecommerce operations more efficient and, ultimately, their brands more valuable to golfers around the world.”
