JumboMax Golf Grips has updated its Grip Fitting App with a new weight fitting feature to take the guesswork out of grip fitting.
The JumboMax Grip Fitting App, available online and on iOS devices, allows golfers to choose the best grip for their game based on size, shape and now weight.
The updated JumboMax Grip Fitting App leverages machine learning and augmented reality to deliver a first-of-its-kind grip-fitting experience. It detects and measures your hand in real time to determine your base grip size, then recommends the optimal grip size and weight based on a few short questions about the way you play.
“JumboMax has always wanted to help golfers get fit into the best grip for their game,” said John Mazzanoble, president of JumboMax Golf Grips. “We’ve invested heavily in technology that makes grip fitting accessible to everyone through the JumboMax Grip Fitting App, and this update now gives golfers the confidence to know that in addition to the right size grip, they are also playing the proper weight.”
Playing the proper grip weight can have a measurable impact on golfers’ performance. Counterbalanced grips, like the Tour Series played by Bryson DeChambeau, help golfers release the club with less effort for a smoother swing and increased stability. Lightweight grips, such as Jason Day’s JMX Zen Lite, provide added feel of the clubhead.
Founded in 2009, JumboMax Golf Grips helps golfers play better with grips designed for a proper ergonomic fit. Tour-validated by players such as Bryson DeChambeau and Jason Day, the brand has proven that selecting grip size, shape and weight based on fit and performance is the fastest and easiest equipment change for measurable improvement.
