UpSwing Golf has launched its innovative junior golf equipment system in the UK, introducing a premium, performance-driven solution designed specifically for young golfers.
Built to evolve with the player, UpSwing Golf offers retailers, young golfers and parents a compelling new opportunity that combines long-term value with genuine technical innovation.
Developed by industry experts Justin Giles and Kevin Mayoux, UpSwing Golf was born out of a simple but widespread frustration: junior golfers quickly outgrow their equipment, forcing parents into repeated purchases of ill-fitting, short-term solutions. The result of their collaboration is a fundamentally different approach – one that supports player development while reducing long-term cost.
At the core of the range is the patented UpTech Golf System, a modular platform that allows clubs to grow with the player. Longer shafts are introduced as the child grows, ensuring the club keeps pace with their development while preserving correct fit and optimised swing weight – delivering both performance gains and strong ongoing engagement for retailers and consumers alike.

UpSwing Golf has been engineered from the ground up to bridge the gap between entry-level junior sets and true performance equipment. Key product features include:
- Age-Matched Recommendation
A complete equipment platform that evolves with the player—encouraging long-term development and repeat purchase potential. - “Patented Hosel Adaptor and Global Mass Property System
Clubhead weighting shifts from heel to toe as the junior develops, promoting improved swing mechanics and more efficient ball striking over time. - Tour-quality materials and construction
Premium components and finishes deliver performance and durability comparable to adult equipment—building trust with parents and coaches. - UST Mamiya performance graphite shafts
Lightweight, high-quality shafts from a globally recognized brand, optimized for junior swing speeds and feel. - Advanced head design for forgiveness and playability
Peripheral weighting, optimized centre of gravity (CG), and a durable PVD finish provide stability, consistency, and visual appeal.
Justin Giles conceived the concept while searching for better equipment for his son, frustrated by the limitations of traditional junior sets. He partnered with Kevin Mayoux, a mechanical engineer and club design specialist who has designed more than 20 clubs that have won on professional tours worldwide.
Together, they have created a system that not only adapts as juniors grow but actively supports better performance at every stage – rather than simply scaling down adult equipment.
Early feedback from coaches highlights UpSwing Golf’s ability to support player development, with many noting that the system helps juniors develop a more consistent swing while maintaining enjoyment of the game.
UpSwing Golf is positioned to deliver strong appeal across both performance-driven families and coaching environments, offering a clear alternative to traditional junior sets.
The range is available in three configurations:
- 4-club Junior Set – RRP £449
- 7-club Junior Varsity Set – RRP £649
- 11-club Varsity Set – RRP £899
There are also upgrade kits and shaft upgrades in between set sizes to ensure all golfers’ needs are met.
“Junior golf should be about enjoyment and development – not frustration or constant expense,” said Joe Mannion, UK Distributor for UpSwing Golf. “UpSwing Golf gives young golfers the right equipment at every stage, in a system that grows with them. It’s a smarter solution for families and a powerful new opportunity for retailers.”
