Sausage Golf introduces ‘Fitter’s Kit’ to bring precise lie angle fitting to Boudin Noir putter

New system supports global expansion of official fitting partners for putter brand.

Sausage Golf has introduced a new Fitter’s Kit, designed to bring precise lie angle fitting to its Boudin Noir putter, while supporting the brand’s ambition to expand its global network of expert fitting partners.

The launch marks a significant step in Sausage Golf’s evolution, not only enhancing its modular putter offering but also enabling more fitters and specialist retailers worldwide to work directly with the system in a meaningful way.

Already recognised for its interchangeable toe hang, face-balanced and low-torque configurations, the Boudin Noir putter now benefits from adjustable lie angle, giving fitters an additional level of control when dialling in performance. The result is a more complete fitting process, allowing optimisation of set-up, posture and strike in a way that reflects how the putter is actually delivered at impact under real-world stroke conditions, rather than static measurement alone.

Unlike traditional fitting tools that isolate a single variable, the Sausage Golf system allows fitters to evaluate lie angle alongside balance profile and torque characteristics. This provides a more complete understanding of how a putter performs through impact, while enabling multiple putter behaviours to be explored within a single head.

In practical terms, this reduces the need for large fitting inventories while increasing the precision of the outcome, giving fitters greater flexibility without compromising on depth of fit.

Housed in a matte black presentation box, the compact kit is designed for ease of use across fitting studios, retail environments and mobile set-ups, with a footprint only slightly larger than a standard dozen golf balls.

At its core is the Boudin Noir putter head, supported by interchangeable lie angle modules ranging from 65° to 76°. A dedicated wrench and spare screws are included.

To further support fitters, Sausage Golf will offer optional starter configurations, including shaft and grip sets designed to complement the Fitter’s Kit and streamline the fitting process from initial test through to build.

Dave Rowles, Creator & Co-Founder of Sausage Golf, said: “Adjustability has always been central to what we do, but it has to be meaningful. Adding lie angle fitting gives fitters another genuine lever to pull when dialling in performance. It’s a natural next step for Boudin Noir.

“At the same time, it allows us to work more closely with fitters around the world. We are looking to build a network of partners who value a proper fitting process and want to take a more hands-on approach with their customers.”

The Fitter’s Kit has been developed for professional fitters, specialist retailers and serious golfers who want a more precise and involved approach to building and refining their putter set-up.
