Clubs to Hire, Europe’s largest golf club rental company, has announced a major expansion of its operations in Morocco, committing an additional investment of more than €200,000 into the country’s rapidly growing golf tourism sector.
The move comes amid a significant boom in Moroccan golf tourism, particularly in Marrakesh, Rabat and Agadir, where international visitor numbers and golf resort developments continue to rise. Morocco is now home to more than 45 golf courses, with several new championship layouts currently under construction or in advanced planning stages. Marrakesh alone has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing winter golf destinations, attracting golfers from Ireland, the UK, Scandinavia and mainland Europe.
According to the Moroccan National Tourist Office, golf tourism has become one of the country’s key luxury travel segments, supported by year-round sunshine, world-class resorts and increased international flight connectivity. Morocco welcomed over 17 million tourists in 2025, with golf travel contributing strongly to off-season tourism growth.
Clubs to Hire has operated in Marrakesh for over a decade and says the latest investment reflects both rising customer demand and Morocco’s growing reputation as a premium golf destination.
Tony Judge, CEO of Clubs to Hire, said: “Morocco’s golf sector is experiencing exceptional growth, and after more than a decade operating successfully in Marrakesh, we are delighted to further expand our investment across Marrakesh and other major golfing destinations throughout the country.
“Having travelled to Morocco regularly over the years, and most recently attending the PGA Champions Tour event in Rabat as a guest of the Prince, it is evident that Morocco is becoming one of the most exciting emerging golf destinations in the world.
“The quality of the golf resorts is outstanding, complemented by world-class five-star hotels that cater perfectly to international golfers. Combined with Morocco’s rich history, vibrant culture and unique atmosphere, it offers an unforgettable experience both on and off the golf course.
“Morocco has seen an explosion of golf courses with several more under construction in Marrakesh, Rabat and Agadir.
“We focus on making golfers’ travel hassle-free and simple. Our clients all book via our website and when they land in Morocco their booked sets are waiting for them at their hotel.
“We are delighted to be growing our footprint in Morocco and look forward to many more great years in this unique country.”
The expansion will include increased inventory, additional hotel and resort partnerships, and enhanced operational support across Morocco’s leading golf destinations.
Industry analysts believe Morocco is positioned to become one of the premier golf tourism markets globally over the next decade, driven by continued investment in infrastructure, luxury hospitality and international sporting events.
For golfers seeking a combination of championship golf, luxury accommodation, cultural experiences and short-haul accessibility from Europe, Marrakesh is increasingly becoming the destination of choice.
“We want to make sure our clients enjoy a five star service with excellent products and convenience, ” Tony Judge concluded.
