Madinaty Golf Club in Egypt has been named the host venue for the 2026 World Golf Awards, which are taking place from 5-7 November.

Leading names from the golfing world will join VIPs and figureheads from the golf tourism industry for what will mark the first World Golf Awards to take place in Africa since the awards were launched 12 years ago.

The Gala Ceremony will take place on the evening of 7 November, forming the climax of an exclusive golfing itinerary that will include the World Golf Awards Classic to be played on Madinaty’s 18-hole championship course, which was designed by tRobert Trent Jones Jr. The weekend will also include a welcome reception at The St. Regis New Capital in Cairo.

Owned by TMG Golf, Madinaty Golf Club is set within the master-planned city of Madinaty – Egypt’s landmark urban development on the eastern edge of New Cairo. The club is managed by Troon, the world’s leader in club management and offers international-standard facilities.
