La Réserve Golf Links, the top-ranked golf course in Mauritius, has praised the impact of its new Club Car fleet, citing improved operational efficiency and an enhanced experience for golfers.
The Indian Ocean venue switched to Club Car in late 2025 and is reaping the benefits. Didier Gayat, Golf Director of La Réserve Golf Links, says that new fleet is helping save time and reduce operating costs, while delivering greater reliability and improved course management.
“La Réserve Golf Links is special because the first hole sits at the top of a mountain,” said Gayat. “There are plenty of steep climbs and descents, and our previous carts often struggled to do 27 holes on one charge. The new Club Cars can comfortably complete two full rounds, which has made a huge difference. We no longer have to worry about batteries running low during play.
“We also chose Club Car Connect and it’s been a game-changer for managing where carts can and can’t go. Occasionally golfers drive too close to the greens, but the geofencing technology allows us to control cart access and better protect the course.”

Club Car’s Tempo model delivers outstanding hill-climbing power and acceleration, and has many customisable options, including colour, seats, storage, wheels and programmable drive modes to maximise performance.
Nicolas Le Glas, Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa, said: “We are delighted to provide La Réserve Golf Links with a vehicle that can comfortably and reliably navigate the hills that make this venue so special. The whole resort strives to give a world-class experience to guests, so the fact the club has chosen Club Car for on-course transportation speaks volumes.”
