Golf, sport and tourism PR and marketing agency Azalea has strengthened its growing team with the appointment of four new members of staff as the company continues to expand its client services and international portfolio.

David Owen and Adam Taylor have joined the agency as account managers, while Beth Foster has been appointed creative marketing manager and Molly Miles joins as content and communications manager.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the appointments mark another significant milestone in Azalea’s growth strategy after announcing a new high-profile global partnership with award-winning US marketing agency Buffalo Groupe last month. The recruitment follows a recent management restructure as the agency broadens its in-house marketing capabilities across creative design, content production, social media management, photography, videography and digital marketing services.

Taylor arrives at Azalea after spending the past four years in a similar role with 54. With seven years’ experience across the golf industry, having worked in both agency and resort environments supporting brands, destinations and governing bodies, he has a wealth of knowledge in strategic marketing, audience growth and revenue generation, bringing a data-led approach to developing marketing strategies and providing actionable insights.

Owen brings extensive experience spanning agency, sports marketing, hospitality and technology sectors. Having started his career in agency marketing before delivering events on the European Tour and managing professional athletes, he has since held senior marketing positions with leading hospitality brands including De Vere Venues, Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, and etc.venues.

Miles joins from Wentworth Club where she developed extensive experience in premium golf and country club marketing. Having progressed from junior digital content executive to marketing executive, she played a key role in major projects including a full rebrand, the launch of padel facilities, golf academy developments, course enhancements and multiple BMW PGA Championship campaigns.

A former Wentworth Foundation Scholar, county-level golfer and tennis player, Miles brings a strong understanding of the golf industry alongside expertise in digital content, communications, photography, videography and social media strategy.

With more than a decade of experience across luxury wellness, hospitality, events and tourism, working for the likes of Champneys and Harbour Hotels, Foster’s appointment further strengthens Azalea’s growing creative division, bringing additional expertise across graphic design, photography, videography, brand identity development and campaign creation.

Luke Frary, managing director of Azalea, said: “We’re delighted to welcome David, Adam, Beth and Molly to the team during a hugely exciting period for the agency.

“Each appointment brings specialist expertise that will further strengthen our ability to support clients across an increasingly diverse range of services. David and Adam add significant experience and strategic insight to our account management team, while Beth and Molly’s appointments are particularly important as we continue to invest in expanding our creative, content and marketing capabilities.

“We have always been committed to delivering best-in-class PR and marketing services, but increasingly our clients are looking for integrated solutions that span content creation, social media, digital marketing, photography, videography and creative design. With these appointments, we now have even greater in-house expertise to support those requirements and deliver exceptional results across every aspect of the marketing mix.”
