PAYNTR Golf launches 87 Big Logo shoe to mark ‘Jason Day’ Day!

Golf shoe brand pays homage to its leading tour ambassador with special edition model.

PAYNTR Golf has introduced a new golf shoe – the Eighty Seven SC Big Logo – which was created with and in homage to brand ambassador and PGA Tour player Jason Day.

An equity partner and ambassador of PAYNTR Golf, Day’s favourite number is 87 and as part of the partnership the brand introduced its first ‘Eighty Seven’ model in 2024 with the launch of the Eighty Seven SC, the first golf shoe released within the Speed Classic Collection.

Now, the Eighty Seven SC Big Logo has been launched on August 7 [8/7 in month/day terms] to mark the next chapter with a confident look designed to make the meaning behind the number impossible to miss.

“Jason is part of the fabric of PAYNTR Golf as a player, a partner and a person,” said Mike Forsey, co-founder and president of PAYNTR Golf. “The Eighty Seven SC gave us a meaningful way to celebrate his story through product. The Big Logo takes that idea to another level, while Eighty Seven Day gives us an opportunity to build a new tradition that golfers can look forward to every year.”

Beginning with the Eighty Seven SC Big Logo, every 8/7 PAYNTR Golf will bring a special release celebrating the partnership, the number and a shared pursuit of better performance.

More than a birthday celebration, Eighty Seven Day represents what PAYNTR Golf and Day share: an obsession with performance, a willingness to challenge convention and the belief that the details, right down to a lucky number, can make all the difference.

The Eighty Seven SC Big Logo is available beginning August 7 at payntrgolf.com with an MSRP of $220.

PGA Tour player Jason Day is a PAYNTR Golf equity partner and brand ambassador and plays a leading role in the design of its new golf shoes
