SkyGolf and SkyTrak announce strategic partnership

Integration of SuperTags club and swing data with SkyTrak simulation creates a unified platform across simulation, practice, and on-course play.

SkyGolf and GOLFTEC, owner of SKYTRAK, has announced a strategic integration of SuperTags, creating a unified performance platform that connects club data, swing capture, ball data for both off-course and on-course play for the first time in a seamless and scalable way.

This collaboration enables SKYTRAK users to access key club delivery metrics directly within the SkyTrak application, while unlocking a broader performance ecosystem through SkyGolf applications — bridging the gap between simulation, practice, and on-course play.

As the first milestone of this partnership, an initial BETA integration is available now for download at skytrakgolf.com/pages/downloads. The Beta release reflects the beginning of a broader, ongoing development roadmap with expanded capabilities planned throughout the year.

Through this integration, SKYTRAK users can now view four new swing metrics — Angle of Attack, Shaft Lean, Shaft Angle, and Backswing Length — alongside their existing ball data.

Together, these metrics provide critical insight into the cause behind each shot, allowing golfers to move beyond observation and into true performance improvement.

“This collaboration represents a meaningful step forward in helping golfers understand not just what happened, but why,” said Mark Taylor, General Manager of SKYTRAK. “By combining SKYTRAK’s trusted ball flight data with SuperTags club and swing data, we’re delivering an affordable solution to unlock a more complete and actionable experience to help people play better golf.”

While the initial integration enhances the SKYTRAK experience, SuperTags extend far beyond simulation. When paired with SkyGolf applications, golfers gain access to a comprehensive performance ecosystem, including:

  • Approximately 25 swing and club metrics
  • 3D swing visualization and replay
  • Automatic club identification, eliminating manual club selection during simulation and ensuring every shot is accurately attributed
  • User-selectable metrics display and a comprehensive metrics dashboard
  • GameTrax 360 on-course tracking and analytics including ‘Strokes Gained’
  • SwingTrax 360 performance insights and trend analysis
  • Continuous performance tracking across all playing environments

This creates a unified system where insights gained in simulation translate directly to on-course performance.

SuperTags integrate directly into the SKYTRAK experience with no disruption to existing workflows, delivering immediate value through enhanced data and automation. At the same time, the open integration platform provides a natural pathway into broader performance insights, allowing users to expand their experience as their needs evolve.

SuperTags are designed to integrate across a wide range of platforms, including launch monitors, simulation software, coaching systems, club fitting and performance enhancing applications.

“We believe the future of golf technology lies in connected systems that work together,” added Jacqui Surman VP of Sales “By collaborating with SKYTRAK, we’re demonstrating how interoperability can unlock greater value for golfers while creating new opportunities for innovation across the industry.”

Both companies indicated that this integration represents an important step in a broader initiative to expand connectivity across the golf technology landscape.

SuperTags are available through SkyGolf channels and will be available in SKYTRAK channels soon. The new BETA software integration is available now for users to try with new SuperTag features included in upcoming SKYTRAK application updates. Expanded capabilities are accessible through SkyGolf applications include SkyCaddie Rangefinders, SkyCaddie Mobile, GameTrax 360, and SwingTrax 360.
