Aquatrols Company appoints Mika Nurminen as European Account Manager

Experienced turf professional brings more than two decades of practical sports surface expertise to support customers across Europe.

Aquatrols is pleased to announce the appointment of Mika Nurminen as its new European Account Manager, effective 1 July 2026.

Based in Finland, Mika joins Aquatrols with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in turf and green area management, construction and maintenance. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively across natural grass, artificial turf and hybrid systems, developing a deep understanding of the challenges faced by turf managers, grounds professionals and facility operators.

Mika’s practical expertise spans a wide range of projects, including golf courses, football pitches and major stadium environments. His background combines technical knowledge with operational experience, enabling him to help customers improve turf performance, address complex agronomic challenges and implement sustainable management practices.

In previous roles covering technical sales, distributor support and project management, Mika has worked closely with customers to deliver effective, practical solutions tailored to local conditions and performance requirements. He has also developed and delivered training and education programmes for industry professionals, helping to translate technical concepts into actionable guidance for turf managers.

His experience includes collaboration with leading organisations such as the Finnish Football Association and Helsinki Olympic Stadium, further strengthening his reputation as a trusted advisor within the sports turf sector.
