Leading electric trolley brand PowaKaddy has appointed Shane Naisbett as its new Area Sales Manager for East England.
Naisbett joins the company with extensive experience across both the golf and wider sports retail industries, bringing a strong combination of commercial expertise, industry knowledge and a passion for the game to the role.
A PGA Professional with more than 10 years’ experience in the golf industry, Naisbett began his career at Chesterfield Golf Club, progressing from Assistant PGA Professional to Head PGA Professional. During his five years leading the club’s golf operations, he developed a strong reputation for retail excellence, custom fitting, and customer service. In 2018, he was recognised as one of the top Foremost Breakthrough Professionals of the Year.
Following his time in club management, Naisbett transitioned into field sales with ASICS, where he managed a large territory of retail accounts across the North of England. A scratch golfer, Naisbett has a passion and understanding for golf that remains at the heart of his career and positions him perfectly to support PowaKaddy’s retail partners across the region.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining PowaKaddy – it’s a brand that has such a strong reputation within the golf industry for innovation and quality, and that’s something I’m looking forward to being a part of,” commented Naisbett. “Having spent much of my career both within golf retail and commercial sales, I’m looking forward to combining those experiences to support our retail partners across the East of England.”
Graeme Wigham, UK Sales Director for PowaKaddy, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Shane to the PowaKaddy team. His unique combination of golf industry expertise and high-level commercial sales experience makes him an excellent fit for the business.
