Jersey’s Les Mielles Golf & Country Club brought to market

Popular family-owned Channel Islands golf club put up for sale.

Les Mielles Golf & Country Club in Jersey has been put up for sale for a guide price of £9.95 million.

Set across 62 acres in the heart of St Ouen’s Bay on the island’s west coast, the club, which boasts a par‑70, 5,607-yard parkland course, has been listed with property agent Savills.

Located with Jersey’s National Park conservation area, Les Mielles has been in operation since the 1960s – evolving from a family‑run farm into one of the island’s most established and distinctive leisure destinations.

Alongside the golf course, which is arranged as two nine-hole loops, the sale includes the clubhouse and a separate fully licensed restaurant and bar. There is also a commercial kitchen, pro shop, changing facilities, administrative offices and integrated staff accommodation, as well as an on-site beauty salon with reception and treatment rooms and a car park with capacity for approximately 125 vehicles.

Les Mielles operates a tiered membership model designed to appeal to a broad demographic, supporting recurring income while maintaining accessibility. All existing memberships and prepaid subscriptions will be honoured for the current term, ensuring continuity for members and a smooth transition for incoming owners.

The course has hosted PGA championships and benefits from a comprehensive irrigation system and well-maintained infrastructure, including a fully integrated operations platform with digital systems for managing tee time bookings, memberships, retail and hospitality. An established staffing structure is also in place, with both full-time and seasonal employees.

Jonathan Le Brun, Les Mieilles’ Director of Golf and co-owner, commented: “Les Mielles has been in our family for four generations, so this has not been an easy decision. However, we believe now is the right time to hand over the reins. The business is running efficiently, generating income from several complementary streams, including memberships, visitor green fees, food and beverage sales, retail, coaching and events, while the course is presented to a high standard and has an established reputation within the regional golfing landscape. Everything is in place for a smooth transition. We see real potential for Les Mielles to evolve into a modern club where golf meets lifestyle.”

Property agent Geri O’Brien, head of office at Savills Jersey, added: “Les Mielles Golf & Country Club enjoys a tranquil position in one of the island’s most sought-after locations – yet still close to Jersey Airport and key transport links. The scale of the landholding in such a special setting – combined with its established business and infrastructure – offers a compelling platform for future ownership and investment.

“It’s a rare turnkey opportunity with scope for further enhancement, including growth in membership, expansion of corporate and event activity, and development of hospitality and leisure offerings, subject to the necessary planning consents.”
